I founded Dearborn + Elm in 2012. Over twenty years as a graphic designer, marketer, account supervisor and client services director have been invaluable training for running my own shop — each previous role serves me well on a daily basis. I'm equally excited about filling my notebook with pencil sketches as I am about meticulously organizing my excel sheets. I'm at home in the primordial ooze of brainstorming and with the strict exercises of timelines and budgets. I get a thrill when a spark of an idea comes to life and takes on a personality of its own.
