When Lisa Damour, a renown psychologist, author, speaker, and consultant, along with accomplished journalist Reena Ninan, launched a podcast all about parenting, I was thrilled to design the logo. At the time, I just happened to be reading Lisa’s latest book, and I was the target audience.

The podcast needed an eye-catching, unique, and approachable logo. Based on my conversations with Lisa and Reena, I developed wide-ranging concepts to explore the topic of parenting. The winning concept was the most personal and simple — a freeform illustration of Lisa, with a handwritten title. It encapsulates the down to earth, practical advice shared on the podcast, while alluding to the messy chaos of real life.

BRANDING • IDENTITY • ILLUSTRATION

I came to Tracy to design the logo for my new podcast. She was able to deliver multiple concepts in a short timeframe, giving me a variety of options to choose from. The design options she created showed that she had listened closely to my goals for the logo and successfully captured the brand personality I wanted to communicate. I’m so happy with the final design — it’s distinct, clever, and memorable.
