Congregation Shaarey Tikvah is a warm, close-knit synagogue who was looking to bring their brand in line with their evolving community. Their existing logo was very traditional and didn’t reflect the welcoming, egalitarian, intergenerational and spiritual mission of the congregation. Inspired by their values, I created a logo that honors the rich tradition of Jewish life (the eternal flame found in all sanctuaries) and pushes it forward in a modern context. As part of the branding launch, I designed their business system, Annual Report, trifold brochure, email marketing, building signage, environmental graphics, and other communications.
